Ashebrooke Neighborhood Oktoberfest 2014!
I am a little behind on updates, but we recently had out Ashebrooke Annual neighborhood Oktoberfest. It was a gorgeous, perfect end of a day. We had a chili cook off, hayrides, face painting, donut eating contest, flour ball, and a keg. What could be better? Above is Camden, Hannah, Lila and Madelyn getting ready for the hayride ( which was Jason's truck filled with hay in the back). Hannah is so lucky to have so many little girls in the neighborhood to play with!
Drew and Christina. We are going to hold onto this photo and pull it out prom night. Christina will be going to kindergarten in the fall with Drew. They are really cute together. Drew is a whole different person around her. It is as if he knows he can't be his crazy self around a sweet little girl. The funny part is that Christina has two older brothers so she can actually "hang" with the boys.
Hannah and Madelyn. Madelyn moved in our neighborhood the end of last school year. They have gotten together a few times for playdates and seem to get along really well.
Hannah and Alexandra were getting their face paint on ready to play in the flour ball tournament. For those of you unfamiliar with flour ball, it is a bunch of panty hose filled with flour and made into a little ball. The kids throw them at each other and then finally go for the parents. They have a strict rule they are not allowed to throw the ball at someone younger than them. Except for Drew, anyone was allowed to throw the ball at Drew:)
Because here he is. Drew is going to take no prisoners out there.
And here is a group of the kids on one of the hayrides. We are so lucky to have such great neighbors and to be surrounded by such wonderful families!
