Siesta Key Day 4

We had an absolutely gorgeous perfect day at the beach today! Sunny and clear skies, a nice breeze, perfect! Sean and Caitlin stayed until mid afternoon and enjoyed the beach with us. Sean was great at digging a big hole for the kids to play in and burying them, they loved it.

Here are the boys after they were playing in the waves!

Nothing is better in the sun than popsicles after working hard on those castles, jumping in the waves and just being Drew.... running all over the beach!

And tonight, we had a pretty low key evening, which was so nice after a busy start to our week. The kids were soooo tired and took little naps around 5pm, which is never a good time. Do you wake them? Do you let them sleep? So their short little naps mid evening made for some cranky kids this evening. We had a delicious dinner consisting of raisin bran, macaroni and cheese and left over pizza and then took a walk down the beach with the kids toys in tote. I thought Hannah looked so sweet in this picture, I had to post.

Birds, birds, another favorite evening past time.. chasing those little birds all over the beach. And man... can Drew run fast. He gets his little arms pumping and legs going running down the beach, with me running behind, and many by standers laughing knowing there is not way I am catching up with him anytime soon.

They loved playing on all the life guard stands around sunset and thought it was pretty cool to toss their dive rings they had with them to see if they would land on Todd and I or. Simple entertainment, and they had fun.

All in a good days fun, now ready to get some sleep for more fun tomorrow :)
