This weekend we were lucky enough to get a visit from the Dice Family. Hannah and Drew were so excited to have their cousins come visit for the weekend, and we definitely made the most of the time together. We went to the Aquarium, the Coke Museum and Stone Mountain. The kids were exhausted at the end of each day to say the least. Above are Hannah and Drew with these characters that were used in a mini Coke Movie... they thought they were really funny.
And here we all are with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear. Drew LOVED that bear. When there wasn't a line to see him, he went running across the entire place yelling "Hi Polar Bear, Hi". The bear gave Drew some extra hugs.
The moment these kids waited for all day, the coca-cola tasting room. They could taste up to 62 different types of drinks from all over the world. Some were good, some were not... what was Hannah'a favorite? ... Sprite of course. Jacob seemed to like the Cream Soda you get at Marion's and Lucas and Drew drank anything they could get their hands on. They were all sugared up, so we let them run around in an open field downtown for a while before putting them back in the car.
Once everyone calmed down and was ready for bed, Todd put on the movie "rio" for the kids on the "wall" with his new projector, the kids thought it was pretty cool to watch a movie not the wall!!
Today we headed to stone mountain to enjoy fall a little. We went to the pumpkin festival, rode the duck boat again, went on a train ride, a petting soon, a plantation, and a yogi bear movie. Jacob and Uncle Jeff went on the Skyride to the top of the mountain and walked down the whole thing. They were pretty proud of themselves! The kids were acting super silly and these were the best pictures I could get of them.
Hannah had to hold Drew back as all he wanted to do was run/ roll down a hill. The kids loved running around, great fall day and lots of fun.
We are so excited they call down south to see us!! We love all the visitors we have gotten so far, many many more than we ever did in MN. I didn't realize how far away we were from everyone?!? Come spring, I can't wait for everyone to stay at Hotel Steinemann on there way to and from FL for vacations :)
