A visit from Kim and Eleanor

This weekend we were so happy to have Kim and Eleanor, our very best friends from Mpls come visit us in Atlanta. We have been looking forward to this for months, and I don't know who was more excited, me or Hannah.   We had  a nice low key relaxing weekend together. The girls, we relaxed, and we put Todd on Drew duty to chase him around and keep him out of the girls way as much as we could.

As you can see, Drew doesn't like to miss a thing, especially with a cute little blonde in the house, so he made his way into a few pictures and fun time with the girls. Eleanor was lucky to leave only with a few hits from Drew, no bites.

While we didn't do much, we ended up staying really busy. The girls went to the park, got their nails done, watch some movies on "the wall" in our house and went out for some lunches here and there.   Most of all, they just played a lot in and outside the house. I came up with the grand idea of them picking up all the acorns that have fallen on the deck, they loved it, who knew?

And at the park, the loved dancing "on stage"and  even meeting a little girl named Zoe that joined in all the fun. They danced, ran around, and look below, they went on the great leaf hunt... They found Huge leaves.  I didn't even knew they grew that big myself here in Georgia.

The hardest part of the weekend was saying good-bye. We all had a great time and dearly miss them. I it is hard to not have all this fun weekend after weekend like we used to. But, we are just a phone call and a webcam away. Hannah already made me promise we would visit them in January of all months so we could go snow tubing.   I didn't realize Hannah would actually miss the snow, but also realized she doesn't know any different either.

We miss you Kim and Eleanor... we can't wait to see you again, until next time - XOXO!!
