We were so excited for our first full day in Siesta Key that Scott and Lauren could come and visit us. It was a rainy icky day out... but that didn't stop the fun. It was a great day, we were just bummed that Amanda and Gracie couldn't join us. We missed them, and we hope to see them some time later this year!!! Scott and Lauren met us for lunch at Dad's favorite restraunt the Ale house. After lunch, we headed to the beach and the pool, under all the clouds and sprinkles. The best part about kids is they don't care that the sun isn't shining, they just want to have fun and play. Scott was making Drew laugh and smile quite a bit...
And Hannah and Lauren hit it off after a little warming up to each other over lunch. They played in the sand, in the pool, and back at the condo some fun games of hide and seek. There were a lot of giggles and fun.
We loved having them visit, and are thankful we have such good friends to go out of their way and make a long drive on a Sunday afternoon to see us. Thanks Scott and Lauren, we miss you guys already!!
