Last night we arrived at Siesta Key beach for the week. Our weather has been little to be desired so far, but the weather men to do tell us it will get better throughout the week. Our first evening we went for a walk along the beach. It might have been my favorite moment of the trip so far. Hannah was so excited to be on the white soft sand. Hannah immediately said "look, it is just like snow... ohhh it is cold too". We laughed, then walked along as she picked up sand and sifted through her fingers in ahh... until she saw the birds... oh my. We were laughing so hard, all she wanted to do all evening was chase the birds, she couldn't understand why they all flew away each time she got near. I am pretty sure she was able to move a flock of about 100 birds a mile down the beach with her screaming laugh and funny little run towards the.
Drew... he watched and laughed. He enjoys the walks and loves looking around at everything. Now.. we just need some sunshine.
If I were a bird, I would be running from her too...
