Twas the Night Before Christmas... and all through the House
We have had a busy few days, getting ready for Santa's arrival. It's finally Christmas Eve and we have had a wonderful days with Todd's Dad, and spending time with friends new and old. This morning we started off the day with a children's Christmas mass at a church in Buckhead with our new friends Holly & Zach and their girls, and Carolyn and Bo, and their kids as well. It was a beautiful church, and they did a great job explaining christmas to the kids with a lived nativity scene, and even a camel and donkey in the church. The kids loved it.
On the way home, we passed by a house in in Brookhaven neighborhood section of Buckhead with the multi-million dollar homes, and of course, there was that one house you just had to stop at. They had about 200 inflatables in their front yard. Cars were going up and down this beautiful neighborhood and people like us were getting out to take pictures. I am sure the neighbors love these people.

After lunch we let Hannah and Drew open gifts from The Renick family and the Kourkoules family. As you can see, they both loved their gifts. Hannah has already watched her new favorite movie Beethoven 2x now.
And Drew, he loved his new shark bike helmet from the Kourkoules family. Clearly, he wouldn't take it off as he opened his other gifts.
In the evening we had the Jarrett family over for christmas even dinner. The kids all had a great time, and Drew didn't bite Blake or Luke, so we consider that a success.
The elves worked hard this year, they delivered the gifts, and are all excited for Hannah and Drew to enjoy their Christmas morning. This is a little sneak preview of Drew & Hannah's morning to come.
Drew is totally obsessed with Home Depot. And since he hears us talk about it all the time, and watches his dad fix things around the house, he is always pretend playing he has a hammer or screw driver, we know he will love this new little home depot work bench.
No doubt Hannah will be excited about her Barbie Dream house, it was number 1 on her list for Santa, oh and her super hero cape.. can't forget that.
Merry Christmas everyone!! Hoping your home is blessed with laughter, love, smiles this Christmas.
