At Hannah's Request: A Spa and Salon Party.... And we tried our hardest to make it come to life.
Here is the entrance to Hannah's little spa and salon. Todd and I worked hard, real hard to make this party everything little Hannah wanted. We stayed up late the night before getting it all set up. When she peeked her head in the room in the morning it was like Christmas morning. Her face expression was worth all the effort put into her party. She had a grin ear to ear and told me this was going to be the best day of her life. Then she told me she wanted to live in the spa room forever :)
We had a nail station complete with a home made awning ( Todd's work), a bead and tattoo station, a hair and makeup station and a complete pedicure foot massage station. And wouldn't you know it, the foot spa was filled with fresh rose petals and Toss served the girls ice water filled with cucumber out of a pitcher, just like when you are at the spa. It was cute.
Hannah had requested that her nail polish and supplies were set up on shelves like at the nail salon. we repurposed a bookcase from the guest room for this party. It turned out cute.
The nail polish line up. The girls all ended up with some type of glitter or polka dots on their nails.
Hannah was so funny when she saw the sign Todd made. She really thought the girls needed money, she ran upstairs and came down with her tooth fairy money so she could pass it out to her friends. We kindly told her the spa and salon was free :)
Here is the little foot spa section :)
Their outfits, which came together about an hour before the party. I had ordered these adorable white spa robes with all the girls names embroidered on them from a shop on etsy. They didn't make it in time due to the snow storm in the north east. So I got up this morning and improvised After running all over the place, I ended up at the gap and bought their camis and leggings, and did iron on letters from Michaels. It ended up really cute and I think it worked even better then the robes would had. The girls just loved it.
Hee they are right after they changed into their spa clothes and when we were getting ready for the face masks and cucumbers. Todd even had spa music playing and we did low lights in the room.
This picture cracks me up. Lila on the end kept saying how cold the cucumbers were, while Maddie and Alexandra had little smirks and were relaxing. As the girls laid down, Murphy kept jumping on them taking their cucumbers. Mackenzie decided to just eat hers anyway.
Here is some of the spa time in action. I was in charge of all the nails. Tess and her sister Abby were in charge of all the girls hair and makeup.
The most popular makeup was very blue eye shadow and very pink hair styles.
Hannah loved her "wedding cake" as she liked to call it. It turned out really cute. I love the bog smile on her face with her smeared make-up on. This is pretty much how the party went. She was so happy and in her element.
Here are the girls post make overs and with their pink hair, pink lips, and blue eyes
Finally we sing Happy Birthday and Hannah blows out her candles. They had some chickfila nuggets, fruit, and were happy little party goers.
Mackenzie and Lila and Hannah are having a little sleep over, and continued to do make overs throughout the night. They have been great and super cute.
Hannah kept giving me little hugs throughout the day while we were setting up saying thank you and how excited she was that this was the best birthday ever. So fun, I love making this little girl happy, as she deserves the best.
Crossing fingers everyone sleeps well tonight, as we could use some rest. Tomorrow, finally, we don't have any to do lists and party prepping. We just need to get our house back in order post holidays, clean up and relax!!
