4 years old ~ 4!! I can't believe it. My little boo boo, my little buddy, my little tyrant is 4. We think he had a great 4th birthday, and definitely made the most of it.
This morning he came down to our room at 3:30am and said mom, dad - santa came for my birthday and decorated the kitchen! We got him back to sleep with a big smile on his face awaiting his presents.
If you don't know Drew well, you may not know he is obsessed with monster trucks. Lets just say anyone that meets him now will know he loves trucks, cars and motorcycles. He picked this cake out months ago, literally middle of the summer every time we would go to publix we had to go look at this cake, this very cake was going to be eaten on his birthday one way or another. What is cooler than a truck smashing cake?!?
Drew said he favorite gift was from mom and dad, his very own Florida Gator monster truck. I looked far and hard for this thing, the best $14 I have ever spent. His expression was priceless when he saw it.
Beyond his trucks and cars, legos were also a big hit.
His birthday party was at sky zone, a trampoline park. Perfect for drew and 8 of his little buddies from school and Hannah's girlfriends from the neighborhood. In fact he had so much fun that he fell asleep in the car about 3 minutes after we pulled out of the parking lot. One of the biggest hits of the party was that Tess and her boyfriend Jake came for the party. Drew is obsessed with Jake, he has a red monster truck and big muscles, which Drew makes him show off every time he sees him :)
When it was time to eat the cake, Drew and Marshall had some fun!! Smearing icing on their faces, laughing and giggling!! We think the party was a success!
Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful presents. Drew is in heaven right now and loves everything so much. He has been playing non stop, which is awesome for us, a little free time!
Happy Happy Happy Birthday my dear Drew. We love your spirit, your character, your perseverance, and your zest for life. You are the life of every party, always making everyone laugh. You put a smile on so many faces each day, and your spirited behavior is always complimented with your tender sweetness full of cuddles at night. Your olive skin and greenish eyes will melt a lot of hearts over the years just as you have done with your mom. I love, love, love you little buddy. Stay little, stay my little boy, don't grow up too fast and lose those cuddles I love so very much.
