Today could not have been a more perfect day for the season opener of Mt Bethel Softball and Tball for both Hannah and Drew. The perfect early fall morning. Not a cloud in the sky and low 70's. Gorgeous. Hannah's team this fall is named the Purple Cheetahs. Hannah, Camden and Mac N cheese are all on the same team this year. All three of them are doing so much better, after a few seasons, they have finally gotten the hang of what to do on the field.
Hannah hit the ball great, and even got two different outs for her team while playing first base. We were impressed she finally knew what to do.
And the best part, at the end of the game, the kids get their goodies, run around and play.
Drew had his first T-ball game today too. He is on the Black Avengers. Must say, it is quite funny to watch. It is 4 yr old t-ball. Drew is the youngest one on the team, as we fibbed a little on the registration. He was supposed to be 4 by Sept 1. In Drew fashion though, has not stopped him a bit. He may be the youngest, but the best little hitter and thrower out there. I think he was one of the only ones out there that "kinda" knew what he was doing. Some kids couldn't hit off the tee, others wouldn't run to base, and others ran to third instead of first. Drew had his whole game planned out though and did awesome. We actually felt bad for him as we think he was pretty bored playing outfield since the balls never made it his way.

Also in Drew style, he insisted on wearing his hat backwards. Cool vs funtional on a sunny saturday :)
We look forward to all the game this season, we love sitting in the sunshine at the fields and watching all the kids play. Too cute.
