When we moved into our house, we had no idea that the best part of living where we do, were the things we didn't know we would come to love. Each day, we get the best of all the worlds, all within 20 minutes of eachother. We work downtown, live in the suburbs, and our neighborhood is on the edge of gorgeous farm lands with amazing houses, landscaping and animals. I love that on our way to work each day we pass cows, llamas and horses, just 15 minutes from downtown.
This morning was one of the perfect fall days, sunny skies, mid 60's and the sun light hitting the orange and red hues of the trees in such perfect ways. I love these days.... If only every day were as perfect as today.... We thought it would be fun to get some pictures of the kids in one of those perfect settings just a few blocks from our house. Capture the essence of fall.. instead we were running after Drew going in every direction other than the camera. We have a lot of pictures of him from the behind.. running away from us laughing. We have a lot of pictures of Hannah running after him, yelling "come back Drew". As Todd said, it may be a few years until we can get a nice family picture again, but until then, we'll keep trying. Wish us luck. Keeping Drew still for more than 3 seconds poses a challenge or two.....
