It's Another Saturday Night..

Everyone tells you that life as you know competely changes when you have a baby. And.. I would agree, to an extent. Saturday nights went from dinner and a movie, to ordering pizza in and cathing glimpses of Saturday night live while you are wonderding why your baby is crying and won't go to sleep past midnight. It happens, we all have those moment, right? Just plain unhappiness. Babies just express those moments by screaming until 2am rather than perhaps having a glass of wine, or two. So, life as we know has now turned into a scene from a favorite movie of mine, Old School. Our Saturday was spent at the Home and Garden show at the Mpls Convention center trying to figure our what to do with our 25 year old rotting deck - and then ended the night with some pizza at home while a friend and her dog came over to play with Murphy. The reality hit that we can no longer enjoy spur of the moment weekend trips, restaurants that are not kid friendly, sleeping in on weekends .. it has hit home. However, it is all worth it and I would do all over again in a split second. Our Saturdays are now spent as family time.. time I know that we need to keep precious because it will slip away before we know it. Hannah and Murphy keep us in good company, and entertain us better than any movie or night out would, for now :)
