I'm 2 Months Old Today!

Two whole months have already passed! Hannah had her 2 months check up yesterday and weighs 11 lbs, 11 oz and is 23 inches long, falling in the 75 percentile for both weight and height. She sure is a big girl! She also had her first round of shots yesterday and she did well.. she was a little crankier than usual, but I don't blame her, I wouldn't want 5 shots either. Life as a 2 month old seems pretty enjoyable, she spends her days swatting at little animals hanging from her gym, looking at the rainforest scene on her bouncy seat and swinging when she is tired... She loves it when Daddy sings to her and still loves looking in mirrors. The best part of being 2 months old is that she is sleeping through the night, 8 hours at a time. The whole family is happier! She gets out and about every day, with lots of trips to Target and MOA. I think she is going to be a good future Target shopper... she seems to love it there, and she sucks mom into buying her lots of things there that she really doesn't need. In the past 2 months mom and dad have learned that when everyone tells you that they are only little for such a short time, it really is true. Babies grow so fast and change daily. Once you think you have them figured out, they throw you for a loop. And, having a baby truly is life's most amazing experience. Sure, there are hard days, exhausting days, and days that you wish you could have a day to yourself, but the smiles you get in return make it all worth it.. and this is just the beginning, with so many things to look forward to.
