One of Drew's christmas presents from us was tickets to the Atlanta Hawks game. He had been asking to go for a long time and something we had not done as a family yet. They were too little to remember all the games at the MN Timberwolves, so off we went. Lila came with us as a last minute addition which made it all that much more fun for everyone.
Drew just had to wear his basketball jersey from mt bethel to the game. At half time I surprised him with a Hawks hat to show some fan appreciation, he was so excited!
This picture is actually after the game ended and we headed closer to the court for the "after show" concert with Cee Lo Green. He played at half time too, the kids loved it. It was a true ATL experience that night at the game I can tell you that!!
Sugar high anyone? Two bags of cotton candy and 4 dipping dots for the game between the kids. The kids did not go to bed until after 1am.... my fault.

After we left the game which was awesome, the kids absolutely loved it.. we walked around downtown a little as centennial park was all lit up with lights and the town was buzzing. The kids were having a ton of fun, and the weather was still in the 70's so you have to take advantage of that!
I think we will try to get back to another game before the end of the season. The playing was amazing, totally entertaining and good family fun. We are trying to embrace all these Atlanta sports!
