Well, we have yet to really hang any pictures on walls yet, except Drew's room, but we have made small progress here and there on picking out a few new pieces of furniture for the house. the picture above is our sunroom off the kitchen. We love this room, filled with sunshine, cozy simple. We are still working on the walls, and decor, but baby steps, at least we have furniture in this room, unlike other rooms in our house. One day, when Drew stops grabbing everything and running, we will be able to put things on coffee tables again. Until this, empty, non break-able items anywhere in Drew's reach.
While I can't actually take credit for this being a room, we do have a decorated enclave. I know, not much, but this is more progress than we made in our Plymouth house in 2 1/2 years. Perhaps with a 3 yr old a newborn decorating was not on the top of my life in MN. We are making more effort in this house to put our touches on it, add a little pizzaz and call it home. We are hoping this is our last and final rest stop until retirement.... 20 years and counting...
Regardless, we do like our little wine bar, and ooops, indulging at the wine bar every once in a while too.
