2nd Annual Fire and Ice Festival

Tonight we made our 2nd annual family outing to the Plymouth Fire and Ice Festival at Parkers Lake. We had smores, played on the snowy playground, watched fireworks, and talked a lot about "the older kids" who were ice skating and playing hockey on the lake. Hannah so badly wanted to ice skate, we told her she was just a little too young for it, and maybe in a few weekends we could try skiing... which I am pretty sure will be a wild adventure.

Hannah loved playing in the snow tonight, and loved watching the fireworks, specifically calling out all the colors, stating she really only like the pink fireworks :)

It was about 25 degrees out tonight, we got all bundled up, and Drew had about 4 layers on and looked like a marshmallow by the time we left. And not surprisingly, he slept through the fire and ice festival. We were so worried he would be cold it didn't occur to us how warm he was. He was all toasty throughout his outing!
