Hannah is our little weather reporter these days. The first thing she does every morning is let us know if it is sunny, raining, snowing, windy, hot or cold. The good news is that lately is has been sunny and hot, and we hope it stays that way for a little while. On the way to work in the morning we head east and watch the sunrise, and on the way home we head back west and watch the sunset. Hannah also gives us an update on if the sun is waking up and going to sleep, it is pretty cute. In this picture Hannah was outside playing the other night after school and kept saying "mom, it's sunny" about 100x. It was as if she had never seen the sun before.
Now that it has been 5 whole days since Hannah found out she is going to have a little brother she is beginning the "acceptance" stage. I think we are finally out the of "denial" stage with a little help from the teachers at her school. She now tells everyone she is going to have a little brother, so that is the good news. The confusing news is that she insists her brother is in her belly. Walking out of school today she lifted up her shirt and showed about 4 different parents her brother in her belly. They all laughed, I am assume they think we are a little crazy. But hey, if that helps her accept her little brother, than I will let her believe it for awhile.
Dad has been in LA this week, so we have had a fun filled week. We made cupcakes soley decorated by Hannah with sprinkles, we went to visit Heidi's & Michael's new little baby girl Mia last night, and tonight went to dinner with Eleanor, Kim and Jason where Hannah and Eleanor ran around screaming in the grass by the parking lot playing "red light, green light". They were having so much fun and are so cute together.
This weekend we are going to be busy getting our yard ready for summer, and hosting some friends to come over on Sunday for a BBQ and meet there 3 week old little girl. Then headed to visit a another friend to meet their 3 month old litlte boy. Never a dull moment!! I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend!!
