Today was an eventful day. Today Hannah went with Mommy and Daddy to Mommy's 20 week ultrasound, and today we found out that Hannah is going to have a little brother. As much as I would like to say she is excited, that would be lying. For months, Hannah has been saying, "no boys, no like boys". Today her worst nightmare came true, there will be a little boy living in our house. We laughed pretty hard when the dr told us it is a boy, and you hear nothing but Hannah saying "no, no, no". She then lifted up her own shirt and asked the dr to check her belly because her sister must be in there then. As the doctor was laughing, Hannah then informed her that her belly was getting bigger and bigger and that her sister really was in there. Ah... poor Hannah, totally confused. Needless to say, we are excited to have a family of four complete with a little girl and a little boy. And most of all, we are excited that everything looked healthy and baby was happy kicking the whole time. We know Hannah will eventually come around sooner or later. We have lots of pink in our house, blue will be nice compliment :)
Tonight was the first day in MN it hit 80 degrees, we spent the evening painting the drive way. Hannah wanted to show everyone her art work. Her favorite thing to do lately is "art". In her world that means coloring, painting, and putting stickers on anything she can find.
Hannah has been saying many funny things lately, she keeps us on our toes! This weekend Murphy got a haircut, and it is pretty short. He came home from grooming and Hannah shrieked with excitement and said " Mommy, I got a new puppy". We spent half the day trying to convince her that her new puppy was indeed our dog Murphy, just with shorter hair. She was so excited, we partly just wanted to let her believe for awhile she did get a new puppy... it was pretty funny.
It has been busy, yet lots of fun around here. Todd has been traveling a lot so Hannah and I have been doing girl things together. Our evenings are spent painting nails, making cookies and cuddling on the couch reading books. I have still been sick, and hoping it will go away at some point.. but not counting on it. I told the dr today I was still not feeling great, her response was "that's annoying" which really doesnt' make you feel any better. A littler perserverance and determination, and we;ll get through it, the end result will be worth it.

Yippee a boy! We love little boys! I'm sure Hannah will come around...especially once she realizes she won't have to share all her toys!
