It's Starting to look a lot like Christmas....

And while the Gators were beating Alabama.... Hannah and Mom decided to start their own holiday tradition of building a Gingerbread house together each year. This being my first gingerbread house, I wasn't sure how it was going to go... but after it was all said and done, it was kind of fun. And Hannah, well, Hannah loved the gum drops, the icing, and all the candy really. She was having a lot of fun and laughing each time she snuck another piece of candy. It was really cute. And when Dad would jump off the couch cheering for the Gators.. Hannah would yell "Go, Go, Go Gators"!  It was a really fun night..

Dad took a picture when we were in progress, getting ready to "ice" up the window :)

And finally, we put up our Christmas tree - with the snow falling outside, and some Christmas music one, it was a perfect day . It was a lot of fun this year with Hannah. Mom got out all the ornaments, Hannah brought them to dad as we talked about what each ornament was... ( and what color it was.... except she thought they were all green....hmmm, need to work on that) and Dad hung them on the tree. Hannah chose a few special ones to put on the tree herself. She kept wanting to hang the "neigh, neigh"  (rocking horse). It took her about 4 attempts, but she figured it out.

Of course, Murphy was there to ensure everything was going smoothly. Christmas is going to be so much fun this year. We keep telling Hannah about Santa Claus and the Reindeer... we think she is starting to put a few things together.  We watched Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer together this week. She kept yelling "more snow monster" when the abdominal snow man was on... that was the highlight of the show for her.. not rudolph  :)
