Mom and Dad finally got to go away for a few days to relax and sleep in while Grandma and Grandpa stayed with Hannah. And boy did Hannah ever wear them out. I think Murph was another set up challenges for the Grandparents. I have never seen two people leave town faster than I saw this weekend after a few days with Hannah. I think they had a good time together, but I am not sure anyone got a lot of sleep. Hannah missed grandma and grandpa already... but is happy mom and dad are back home. We are grateful that our parents are willing to come all the way to MN to spend time with their grand daughter and give us some much needed time away, of course while we were away all we did was talk about Hannah :)

Our Lil' Buckeye!
We think she wins the cutest buckeye award :) Hannah was a big hit at the Minnesota Ohio State Alumni club. She was in full spirit cheering on the Buckeyes with her adorable outfit from Uncle Jeff, Aunt Nikki and Jodi and Brian. She had a wonderful time cheering on the Bucks and just loved looking at everyone wearing scarlet and grey. What could be better on a beautiful afternoon?

I am 8 Months old!
8 Months old, and this might be the last sign you see. Hannah and I got in a fight as I saw her chewing on the paper as I was taking the pictures. This month has gone so fast and has been so much fun. Hannah is pulling herself up on everything now. All eyes on deck. We might start calling her "bruiser" as she has had her share of tumbles already. She loves to swing in the park, and laughs all the time. We like to think she is the life of the party at the playground.
It is much harder to keep track of Hannah these days, you never what chair you will find her behind or what table she is underneath, just full of surprises keeping mom and dad on call at all times!

Gimme a "G".... Gooooo Gators!
It's football time again and Hannah is super excited to cheer for the Gators again! Yes, I did have to explain to her that the Gators may not always swiftly beat the number two team in the nation, but it should still be a fun and exciting season. She is already practicing her cheers and loves to be lifted in the air. She doesn't quite have the 'chomp' down yet, but sure does love to try.
And yes, for all of you Buckeye fans out there, Hannah is cheering equally for Brutis and gang this year too!
The Minnesota State Fair
Full Proof, Hannah visited the "oink" booth and the Minnesota State Fair. It was a gorgeous Friday night so what better to do than to walk amongst Minnesota's finest and eat fried food. Hannah was a little skeptical of the fair at first, then warmed up a little later. I think she was a little overwhelmed at all the people, rides and bright lights. The highlight of the night came right after visiting the oink booth, Hannah had her first celebrity sighting. There we were right by the pigs and horses as Vince Vaughn himself rides ride by us on a cart. Since Hannah reads US Weekly with mom for her bedtime book, she knew exactly who he was! We aren't completely sure why he was there, headed to the horse barn, but it was the highlight of Hannah's and mom's night! Mom and Dad did a good job of not indulging in all the fair food, we split some Australian potatoes and called it a night. We did laugh as we walked my the fried candy bars thinking of Grandpa Dice!

Splish Splash!
There is nothing more fun than bath time these days. And they aren't short these days either. Hannah is loving bath time, splishing and splashing in the water, and she cries when you take her out. We get home from work and a majority of our evening is spent next to the bath tub watching Hannah just have a ball!
Uncle Jeff and Cousin Jake come for a visit!
And we had SO much fun.. We stayed so busy going to Lego Land, the train museum, swimming and the zoo. At night we watched Nemo and Cars. So much to do, so little time! Jake had a great time playing with Hannah and Murphy, he was one tired little boy by the end of the weekend. Hannah just loved Jake, she giggled and laughed at everything he did. Jake was the entertainment for the weekend. We only wish we lived closer so we could all get together more often! The weekend went too fast, we miss them already!!! We appreciate all our family coming to visit us from so far away!

I'm 7 Months Old
And.. this was the best picture I could get. At 7 months, I thought this picture also represented her age well. Everything is a toy, and life is about exploring and discovering. So, her little signs are a new toy. The 6th month flew by and Hannah changed so much over the last month. The last few weeks have been hard, but fun at the same time. Since 4th of July, Hannah as had a stomach flu, a bad cold and two ear infections. Let's just say no one in the house got much sleep over the last month. And not only did Hannah get sick, the whole house has been sick, including beloved Murphy. Now that we are all better, life is fun again. Hannah is crawling (army style) and this has opened up a whole new world for her to explore. Mom and Dad on the other hand spend a lot of time making sure she doesn't get into anything. Hannah also got her two bottom teeth over the last week. It is funny to see her smile not, you just aren't expecting to see those little teeth, they kind of surprise you each time.
So, as Hannah is growing up so fast, we are spending our time just having fun, making her laugh, and laughing at her. Every day seems to be a new adventure as she reaches the milestones of baby's first year. I can't believe the first year is almost half over. This was the fastest 7 months of my life, the most exhausting, the hardest, and also the most rewarding.

Gooooood Morning Everybody!!
And this is what we get to wake up to these days!! There truly is nothing more fun than walking into Hannah's room each morning...... except that it is generally before 6am, ouch. Any time between 5:15am and 5:45am we generally start to hear our little one decide she is going to start her day... much to mom and dad's wishes that she would just sleep a little bit longer. We generally try to leave her in her crib until closer to 6am, and by the time we get in there... she is nothing but smiles to greet us. I think by the time we get to her she is just so excited to have someone to play with!! Many times, she has both arms wrapped around the bars of the crib with her little face sticking in between them all smiles and laughing. It is just too cute to not capture in a photo!

The Great Outdoors
Dad had been working real hard on the deck this weekend! We now have a landing to walk outside on, the stairs should follow today. Hannah wasn't real happy being inside with all the banging, cutting, and sawing going on outside... we decided if you can't beat em, join em. So that is what we did. After Hannah had a long day fighting a cold and was nothing less than cranky, we got out a blanket and watched dad walk back and forth from the deck to the garage sawing wood, and did Hannah ever love watching dad. The entertainment outside with wonderful. It was a beautiful evening, slight breeze and upper 70's.. the first smile Hannah had all day. So we have now learned, when Hannah gets fussy...spend time outside.
