Spring Sports

It's spring.. which means we are crazy busy on the sports fields. Drew is loving baseball and having fun being on the Yankees. He has plays short stop the majority of the time and sometimes plays pitcher.  He is a good little fielder and has made some great stops this season. The yankees lost this weekend, but Drew played great.

He was up to bay three times and got two doubles and a triple. He had two huge hits down the third base line hitting the fences. He is such a good little hitter.

And I am that mom that is waving my hands saying "smile Drew". He smiles, but then rolled his eyes and stuck out his tongue at me :) He has fun out there and has made some little friends on the team too. I love watching the games, they are just so cute at this age as the boys learn the game. Lots of cheering and laughs during these games.

And Hannah had two games this weekend and scored goals in both games. Her game today she played goalie the second part of the first half and didn't let any goals in.

These pictures are hard to get... she is #46, trying to get action shots across the field is not my specialty.

Back to Hannah's game today, they won and Hannah scored 1 goal and 4 assists! She played left wing and has become pretty awesome at her passing and moving the ball to the other side of the field opening up the field. She was great at centering the ball and getting it to the forward to punch the ball in the net. It was fun to see. She hustled and played hard, we were really proud of her.

Soon, it will be summer and we may be able to sleep in and enjoy a saturday with less on the go activities. That being said, I love this.. I love watching their games, watching them learn, have fun and be part of teams. They both have grown so much this season in both their sports it makes me excited for whats to come.  I am so proud of them!

Go Yankees, Go Nasa!! another month to go!
