We are in full motion of spring sports right now. Hannah is in the middle of her spring soccer season on the Nasa U9 Academy team. Here is a picture of Hannah, Lila and Sophia that got to play together in a game this past weekend. They are usually on different teams and the three of them finally got to play together. They are so cute and such good friends. Hannah even scored a big goal during the game to clinch the win! I hope these girls get to play with each other again this season or in the future as it made it really fun for them. Hannah seems to really like soccer and often plays left wing and sometimes center half. She is going to try out for the U10 team the end of May. She is pretty excited!
And here is our NY Yankee! Drew is back to playing East Side baseball and is on the 6 yr old NY Yankees this season. He had a great start to the season during his first few games with some awesome hitting and fielding. He has been playing pitcher and short stop this season. But.... lil Drew ended up breaking a finger this weekend while practicing batting. We are hoping he will be able to at least play some games at the end of the season as we are hoping for quick healing. The coach was pretty darn bummed when we told him about Drew's finger. Not good :(
We are having a blast watching the kids play their sports. They are so cute, and learning so much. I love them being part of a team and learning good sportsmanship too. They are making good friends and great memories. We just have to get our little guy back out there on the field!
