This weekend we were excited to have the Renick Family come for a visit on their way to their cabin in North Carolina. The kids were SO excited to see them as it has been since April since we last got together. Hannah was so excited to have her buddies back together again.
And Drew, well he ended up calling Lauren Eleanor the entire time which is pretty darn funny because when we were actually in Colorado visiting Eleanor he called her Lauren the whole trip. I guess Drew gets all his cute little blonde girlfriends mixed up from time to time :) Oh, and he asked Gracie if she wanted to go on a date with him. Clearly, he has moves :)
And the girls all had fun playing in the leaves, and Drew was quite the little raker. Who know we didn't need to hire yard crews after all. Saturday night Todd and I, and Scott and Amanda were able to sneak away for a dinner out without the kids. It was so nice to have adult conversation. We had a ton of fun together as always, and Drew was full of tears upon their departure. We miss them already and can't wait to see them again soon!
It was a busy week last week. Todd was out of town for work, I took the kids to the Rockettes with some co-workers one night, and ended up being sick on top of all of it. Now, back to the grind of work and thanksgiving this week .The holidays are just creeping up upon all of us way too fast this year, I can't keep up. We are looking forward to spending time with family this week in Ohio!!
