This year we were able to go to Ohio and spend a combined Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday with the Dice family as we now refer to as "Thanksmas". We had a
n action packed weekend started with strategic packing a few days before we left, and a lack of plan for Drew on the plane. All is all, we survived the holiday traveling, but the ride back was little to be desired. Lets just say we won't be flying with him again anytime soon. After a lot of biting, pulled hair, pinching, arching the back, screaming and hitting... we'll just stay put here in MN for a while. Just seems easier that way :)

Just seems easier that way :)On Thanksgiving day we had one of the best turkey dinners I have ever had, and enjoyed time with family. After dinner was cleaned up, we quickly switched gears into Christmas. The kids all enjoyed opening their gifts and playing with their new toys. Jake loved his new Star Wars toys, Lucas loved everyone's toys and wanted to make sure he didn't miss a thing.. and was a great helper. Drew was totally over whelmed and Hannah enjoyed all her new toys. It was fun to watch them! We are so thankful to be so blessed with a such an amazing family. Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Nikki for a great Thanksmas!
The next evening we went Jeff and Nikki were nice enough to host Todd's favorite dinner at their house while the kids played, then headed to Clifton Mills to watch a Christmas light show. The kids loved it, and Hannah was so excited to see Santa and the reindeer. I keep reminding her he is watching her all the time :)
And Todd and I got to have a little fun of our which only happens 1-2x a year sadly. We went to the Ohio State/ Michigan game in Columbus. One of the most fun days in Ohio in my opinion, and the best part was seeing some college friends. I miss those guys! Todd wasn't quite convinced the way to go to a football game was with gloves, sweaters, coats and hand warmers rather than flip flops... but none the less, it was fun. Thank you Grandma & Grandpa for watching the kids and giving Todd and I a much needed break from work, kids and chaos for a day.
Thanks for Grandma, Grandpa, Jeff and Nikki for a great time! We miss you guys already, and I know Hannah misses you a ton too! She won't stop talking about what fun she had!! Thank you!
