A much needed trip from Cold Minnesota to Sunny Florida!!

I just couldn't resist posting this picture, as I thought it was just too cute of Hannah drinking her milk at dinner...

Hannah, Dad, and Dee Jones, who came a long way to meet Hannah. Dee was very close with Hannah's Grandma Steinemann who she was named after. It was wonderful talking to Dee and hearing stories about Hannah's Grandma.

Hannah's first day on the beach, she was SO excited... and was so cute in her adorable swim suit from Aunt Nikki and Uncle Jeff!

After 6 long, horrible, yet to end miserable months of Minnesota winter, we decided it was time to get some sunshine to maintain sanity, as well as visit with some family and friends. We started our week at Sea World with Hannah's Aunt Andrea, Cousin Ashely and Cousin Drake. Hannah LOVED Sea World. She watched the shows, watched the dolphins swim and even just loved looking at all the flowers. We joke to ourselves we think it was Hannah's best day of her life to this point... :)

After Sea World we went to New Smryna Beach ( about 3o minutes from Daytona Beach). It is a quiet beach where there isn't much to do but relax, soak up the sun and sleep.. which is just what we needed. Through out the week, the Wikstrom family visited again, where Hannah LOVED playing with Cousin Drake.. he just made her laugh and laugh.. and of course with a Mohawk .... how could she not laugh:) Later in the week the Renick family rented a condo at the beach as well, so we were able to spend time with Scottie, Amanda, Gracie and Lauren. Hannah enjoyed playing with the girls!!

Hannah loved playing in the sand, and knocking down any sand castle should could find. After keeping SPF 50 on her the entire time, by the end of the week, we realized she has her mom's skin color as her back, arms, and legs got pretty dark. It was a great week, just to be able to spend time as a family, relaxed and not bogged down by the stresses of work, life, laundry and such. A much needed and deserved escape after a long winter.
