Fall Grandparent Visits!
This fall we were lucky enough for both grandparents to visits. Grandma and Grandpa Dice came for a weekend to watch the kids play their sports. They were able to watch Drew play soccer and flag football and the next day watch Hannah play soccer. We think Grandma and Grandpa were good luck charms for both kids. Drew scored 4 goals in his soccer game, and Hannah scored 2 goals in her game, which were her first goals of the season!! She played awesome and stayed in position at left wing and caught two crosses from the side and popped them in the goal. It was so fun to watch and she was so proud of herself. She got MVP of the game too ! It was great seeing Grandma and Grandpa and the kids had fun with them!
A few weeks later Grandpa John came to visit and was able to participate in Veterans Day celebration at the kids school. There was a breakfast, a parade and the kindergartners sang some songs. The kids were beyond proud to have their Grandpa there with them. I think Grandpa enjoyed being there too. Later that day they went to Dobbins Air Force base to look at some cool army planes.
We are lucky and thankful that all the grandparents made their way to Atlanta this fall to spend time with the kids. They are growing up so fast and it means a lot to them to have their grandparents see them in their sports and school and meet their friends.
Thank you!
