I promise, it really was a good birthday, she just doesn't look like she was too happy in this picture sitting in the snow. Hannah had a great first birthday and we came home to this fun surprise in our front yard. Our neighbors built Hannah a snowman and made a sign to wish her a Happy 1st Birthday! We thought it would be fun to try to capture the excitement in this picture, but it didn't translate too well :) Hannah has had a great week with birthday presents, a party, cake and so many wonderful Birthday wishes from family and friends. She is a very lucky little girl to have some many people in her life that give her so much love and attention.
Hannah's first year has been nothing short of wonderful. She is the best thing that has ever happened to Mom and Dad. We love her more than we could had ever imagined. And to think, just one year ago we held her for the first time with so much wonder. We could never had imagined how much she would make us smile, laugh, and bring such pure joy to our lives. Everyone would tell us, once you have a child, life will never be the same... and we finally understand what that means. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH!!
