While she still may be a beautiful angel, she has already begun testing her limits. One of our biggest fears has been having a baby that cries for hours at a time, and we got to experience that last night. From 11:30 to 3:30 she was a pretty cranky girl. The one thing that we never expected was, to care so much for her and want her to stop crying, not becasue it is annoying or keeping us up, but because we just want her to be happy.
A crying baby is very different when it's your own and not some kid next to you on an airplane. Most of you with kids are probably laughing at us 'newbies', but I guess it's just a maturing process that we are just beginning.

Who's laughing?! That feeling of absolute bliss and complete terror from those first few days? That moment of looking to each other for help and realizing neither of you has any idea what to do? Just remembering that that experience with our own girls still gives me a bit of a cold sweat...the absolute best and worst of times...
